Website Design Cost in Pakistan 2026: What You Should Actually Pay

Price tag showing Rs. 50,000+ average website cost with a calculator and coin stack, illustrating website design pricing in Pakistan

Ask five web design companies in Pakistan how much a website costs and you will get five completely different numbers. One will quote you Rs. 8,000. Another will say Rs. 250,000. Both of them will sound confident, and neither will explain why the gap is so enormous.

That confusion is not an accident. “A website” is not one product. It is a category, the same way “a vehicle” is a category. A motorcycle and a delivery truck are both vehicles, but nobody is surprised that they cost different amounts.

This guide gives you honest, current 2026 pricing in Pakistani rupees. It breaks down what actually drives the number up or down, shows you where the hidden costs live, and helps you tell a fair quote from one that will cost you badly six months later.

Quick Answer: Website Design Cost in Pakistan (2026)

If you want the short version before the detail, here is where the market sits right now.

Website Type Typical 2026 Cost (PKR) Best For
Single landing page 15,000 – 35,000 One campaign, one product, one offer
Basic 5-page business site 25,000 – 60,000 New businesses, service providers
Professional WordPress site 60,000 – 150,000 Established SMEs wanting custom design
WooCommerce online store 80,000 – 250,000 Product sellers, retail brands
Custom / large ecommerce 250,000 – 800,000+ Multi-category stores, enterprise

These figures line up with what published 2026 pricing guides across the Pakistani market are reporting. Independent guides put a single campaign landing page between PKR 15,000 and PKR 35,000, a full 5 to 10 page business website between PKR 40,000 and PKR 100,000, and a full ecommerce store with product pages, cart and payment integration between PKR 80,000 and PKR 250,000 depending on complexity. Other agencies place a professional business website between Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 125,000, with online stores usually starting around Rs. 200,000 because there is far more to build and test.

So the ranges overlap, but they are consistent. If someone quotes you far outside these bands in either direction, ask why.

“The cheapest website is never the cheapest website. It is just the one where you pay the second instalment later — usually to a different developer.”

Why the Same Website Costs Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 250,000

Two businesses in the same industry can end up with wildly different invoices. Here is what actually creates the gap.

Number of Pages and Structure

This is the most direct factor. A five-page site — Home, About, Services, Blog, Contact — takes a fraction of the time a fifty-page site takes, where every service, every city and every product has its own landing page.

Most professional agencies in Pakistan price by page or by section. At superiotech, we map out the entire site structure before quoting, so you know precisely what you are paying for and where the extra pages sit.

Template vs Custom Design

A template-based build starts from a pre-made theme — a WordPress Elementor template or a Shopify theme — and adapts colours, images and text to your brand. It is fast, it is affordable, and for a lot of small businesses it is genuinely the right answer.

A custom design starts from a blank page. Wireframes, layout decisions, a design that matches how your specific customer actually behaves. It costs more because it takes more hours, but it is the only route if you want your site to look like nobody else’s.

Platform Choice

WordPress remains the default for most Pakistani businesses, and for good reason — it powers a huge share of the web, it is flexible, and you can update content without calling a developer. WordPress site pricing in Pakistan can range from PKR 25,000 to over PKR 500,000 depending on complexity, features and who you hire.

Shopify sits in a different category. You pay a monthly subscription instead of hosting fees, and setup is faster, but customisation has limits. If you are weighing the two, our team can walk you through it on our Shopify store design service page.

Functionality and Integrations

Every feature you add is development time:

  • Payment gateway integration (JazzCash, EasyPaisa, Stripe, bank transfer)
  • Booking or appointment systems
  • Customer login and account areas
  • Live inventory and stock management
  • Multi-language support
  • CRM or ERP connections

A brochure site with a contact form is straightforward. A site that has to talk to your inventory system in real time is a software project wearing a website costume.

Who You Hire

A student on Facebook charges Rs. 5,000. A freelancer with three years of experience charges Rs. 40,000. An agency with a designer, a developer and an SEO specialist charges Rs. 100,000+.

You are not just paying for the design. You are paying for who fixes it when it breaks, who is still answering your messages in eight months, and whether anyone thought about how it will rank on Google.

Content Management: What You Get at Each Price Level

Under Rs. 15,000

Expect a pre-made theme with your logo dropped in, minimal customisation, no SEO setup, and often no source access. These builds frequently use pirated themes and plugins — which is a genuine security problem, not a theoretical one. A site built on a nulled theme is a standing invitation to malware, and cleaning up an infected site costs far more than the original build.

Rs. 25,000 – Rs. 60,000

This is where most legitimate small business websites live. You should receive a licensed theme, 5 to 7 properly built pages, mobile responsiveness, a working contact form, basic on-page SEO, and a core plugin stack for security, caching and forms.

Rs. 60,000 – Rs. 150,000

Custom layouts built from wireframes rather than a stock template. Speed optimisation, full plugin licensing, conversion-focused structure, blog setup, and proper analytics. This is the range for a business that treats its website as a sales channel rather than a business card.

Our WordPress website development service sits in this band, and it includes the SEO groundwork that most builds skip.

Rs. 150,000 and Above

Ecommerce, custom functionality, or a large multi-page site. Ecommerce websites in Pakistan range from around Rs. 80,000 for a basic WooCommerce store to Rs. 300,000 and beyond for a fully custom platform with advanced features, payment gateway integrations and inventory management.

If you are building a store, our ecommerce development team can scope it properly before you commit to a number.

The Costs Nobody Puts in the Quote

This is where most business owners get caught. The build price is not the total price.

Domain Name

Roughly Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 6,000 per year for a .com. A .pk domain costs slightly more. This renews annually, forever, and you should own it in your own name — not your developer’s.

Hosting

Shared hosting starts around Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 15,000 per year. VPS hosting for a busier site runs Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 100,000 per year. If your developer says hosting is “free,” find out for how long and whose account it sits in.

SSL Certificate

Often free through Let’s Encrypt, but some hosts charge Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 10,000 annually. Without it, browsers flag your site as insecure and Google treats it poorly.

Premium Themes and Plugins

Premium themes typically add PKR 7,000 to PKR 15,000, paid plugins range from PKR 2,000 to PKR 10,000 depending on functionality, and Elementor Pro starts at around PKR 10,000 per year. These are annual licences, not one-time purchases.

Content and Photography

Nobody budgets for this and everybody needs it. Professional copywriting, product photography, and image licensing. If you hand a developer a project with no text and no images, the project stalls — and stalled projects cost money in delay.

Maintenance

Updates, backups, security monitoring, uptime checks. Budget Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 25,000 per month depending on the site’s size. Our website maintenance service exists precisely because a site left un-updated for a year becomes a liability.

“Business owners budget for building the website and forget to budget for owning it. The second number is the one that catches people out.”

Red Flags in a Website Quote

After reviewing a lot of quotes from a lot of vendors, these are the warning signs worth taking seriously.

The Quote Has No Page List

If the proposal says “website design — Rs. 60,000” with no breakdown, you have no way to check what you are receiving or to hold anyone to it. A proper quote lists every page.

Nobody Mentioned Mobile

Over 70% of web traffic in Pakistan comes from mobile devices. If your site is not fast and usable on a mid-range Android phone, you are losing the majority of your visitors. Ask specifically for a mobile-first build, and ask to see the site on a phone before you sign off.

SEO Is Not Included and Not Mentioned

Most website designers in Pakistan do not include SEO in their standard pricing. A beautiful website with no SEO foundation is a shop with no sign, on a street with no name. At minimum, the build should include proper heading structure, meta titles and descriptions, image alt text, an XML sitemap and Google Search Console setup.

If you want to understand what that groundwork actually involves, our guide on what SEO is covers it from the beginning.

You Do Not Own the Files

Ask directly: after final payment, do I own the domain, the hosting account, the source files and the admin access? If the answer is anything other than a clear yes, walk away. Plenty of businesses discover they are effectively renting their own website.

No Written Contract

Even with a trusted freelancer, define deliverables, timelines, revision rounds and payment milestones before work begins. Verbal agreements produce disputes at exactly the moment you have the least leverage.

How to Reduce Your Website Cost Without Regretting It

There are smart ways to spend less and there are expensive ways to spend less. These are the smart ones.

Start Smaller and Expand

You do not need fifty pages on day one. Launch with five strong pages, get real traffic data, then add the pages your visitors actually look for. This is cheaper and produces better results than guessing at the start.

Prepare Your Content First

Have your text, images, logo and brand colours ready before development begins. Delays caused by missing content are the single most common reason projects run over budget.

Choose Template Where It Genuinely Does Not Matter

Your privacy policy page does not need a custom design. Your homepage might. Spend the custom design budget where customers actually make decisions.

Bundle Design With Marketing

Agencies that handle both design and marketing often price a combined engagement more efficiently than two separate vendors — and more importantly, the site gets built with rankings in mind from day one rather than retrofitted afterwards.

Do Not Cut Hosting

This is the false economy. Cheap hosting produces slow load times, slow load times hurt both rankings and conversions, and the money you saved evaporates in lost customers.

What a Fair Website Investment Looks Like by Business Type

A new service business in Karachi or Lahore. Five pages, licensed template, mobile-optimised, basic SEO. Budget Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 60,000 plus roughly Rs. 12,000 a year in domain and hosting.

An established company wanting to generate leads. Seven to ten custom pages, conversion-focused layout, blog, full SEO setup, analytics and conversion tracking. Budget Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 150,000.

A retail brand launching online. WooCommerce or Shopify, product pages, payment integration, order emails, stock management. Budget Rs. 100,000 to Rs. 250,000, plus ongoing maintenance.

A business already ranking that needs an upgrade. Redesign without losing existing rankings — this requires careful redirect mapping and is genuinely specialist work. Budget similar to a new build, plus migration planning.

If you are local to Karachi and want to combine a rebuild with a ranking push, our SEO services in Karachi page explains how the two fit together.

Frequently Asked Questions

A basic 5-page business website in 2026 typically costs between PKR 25,000 and PKR 60,000 for a properly built site with a licensed theme, mobile responsiveness and basic SEO setup. Prices below PKR 15,000 usually indicate a pirated theme or minimal customisation.
